Service Consultant – Old Mutual Namibia – Windhoek

Introduction…

Old Mutual is a leading Financial Services Provider. We require a Service Consultant to support the Sales Team. This role is responsible for assisting the Distribution team to manage new business. The incumbent assists with managing all quotation requests and performs administration assistance to the Sales Team.

Minimum Requirements…

  • Namibian Citizenship;
  • A relevant business or commerce qualification will be an advantage;
  • Own reliable transport;
  • At least 3 years industry experience;
  • IISA qualifications will be an advantage;
  • An assertive self-starter with excellent organizing skills;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Well organized and pays attention to detail;
  • Excellent conflict handling skills;
  • The ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent client relationships and high service levels; and
  • Experience and understanding of Group Life Assurance Products.

 

Job Specification…

  • Liaise with members, brokers and potential participating employers to ensure proper and prompt submission of outstanding information;
  • Recording and resolution of queries and complaints and generate appropriate responses;
  • Prepare new business and existing business quotations;
  • Support distribution team with all administrative requests and enquiries;
  • Prepare and manage the registration of special rules and amendments to rules;
  • Attend scheduled meetings with key brokers to address service related issues on behalf of the administration team; and
  • Personal Assistant to Head of Distribution
