Namibia: Regional Analyst

The E8 Secretariat is seeking a highly motivated individual with outstanding academic credentials and strong quantitative analysis capabilities to fill the position of Analyst, Regional Programmes. The Analyst will play a key role in establishing this new regional organization, and will be expected to support numerous functions, primarily involving the collection and use of data to conduct analysis that will improve program design and delivery. The Analyst will bring strong skills in research, expository writing, analysis of data to drive decisions, and formulation of plans and processes for effective strategy and operations. This is therefore for an entrepreneurial, flexible, and driven individual to gain increasing exposure and responsibility, working with the Director of the Secretariat to establish new programs and to enhance effectiveness in the E8’s strategic approach. The Analyst will not necessarily be an expert in malaria, but he/she will have experience (preferably in a management consulting environment) in the analysis of data to drive decisions, and the use of analytical and business/strategy-oriented frameworks to analyze and improve performance. The Analyst will be required to travel frequently throughout southern Africa, and must be able to develop excellent working relationships with member states and regional partners.
