Under the direct supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluations (M&E) Manager, you will be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of results. Your key responsibility is to support the M&E Manager to determine the impact of activities with the aim of aiding evidence-based decision-making. In order to respond to the highly technical nature of this position, it is imperative that you display an analytical disposition and competent in using statistical techniques to conduct impact evaluation. As a part of the consolidated M&E reporting you will support data collection and verification of activities under the grant and implementing partners. In order to succeed in this role you will have to develop strong working relationships with various stakeholders, such as the Country Focal Persons, the National Malaria Control Programs and the implementing partners. Fostering such quality relationships will allow for harmonized reporting that would naturally secure reliable reporting on the grant objectives. This technical positon offers an opportunity to work in a culturally diverse environment, requiring you to interact with the various countries and technical experts in a diplomatic manner. Frequent travel to the E8 member countries will be required.
