Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: Grade 12
  • Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level
  • Desirable: Relevant Retail/Business Management qualification
  • Desirable: experience in a customer facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment

Job purpose:

  • To deliver service excellence through efficient customer service, point of sale (POS) operational activities and merchandising in store that leads to a positive customer experience.

Job objectives:

  • To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
  • To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased, including actioning clubcard rewards.
  • To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
  • To proactively promote the Clicks’ clubcard and to enroll new clubcard members in order to achieve the clubcard participation targets.

Job Description
  •  Attending to telephonic customer calls, queries, orders, availability of stock, pricing and arranging of urgent deliveries    timeously,
  • Edi order capture and download
  • Pricing controlling and capture manual orders
  • Ensuring that authorization numbers are released telephonically/fax and new customer accounts available for effective and timeous distribution of orders placed
  •  Processing and the distribution of sales orders
  •  Receiving daily cash payments and ensuring the correct allocation, timeous banking and reconciliation thereof
  • Processing of orders, stock counts, picking and stock transfers
  •  Forward claims and COD invoices received to Debtors Department at Head Office
  • Assist representative with pricing and deal enquiries on Embrace
  • Effective handling of reception duties
Profile

• Grade 12.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Office Administration or Telesales environment.
• Exposure to FMCG environment will be an advantage.
• Fluent in English
